Affiliate Disclosure

We believe in being straightforward about how this site is funded.

Our current status

At this time, DogBehaviorTips.com does not publish affiliate links, and we do not earn commissions from products mentioned in our articles. When we name a type of product (for example, a chew toy or a front-clip harness), we do so only to explain training and behavior, not to sell you anything, and not in exchange for payment.

Note for the site owner: this page is written for the site's current, non-monetized state. Update it (and add the required program language, for example the Amazon Associates disclosure) before you add any affiliate links.

If this changes

If we begin using affiliate links in the future, this page will be updated to say so clearly, and affected content will carry a visible disclosure. An affiliate link means that if you click it and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Our promise either way

Any product we ever discuss will be chosen because we believe it is genuinely relevant to helping dogs and their owners, not because of a commission. A commercial relationship will never change our honest assessment of whether something is worth your money. We favor humane, reward-based methods and will always tell you when a tool is optional or when a trade-off exists.
